Huntington Garden Conservatory The Conservatory is one of our favorite buildings at Huntington Gardens. It is a beautiful hot house filled with moisture loving plants. This year for some reason it was also really warm. Down stairs is a little glass fronted pond with fish and plants floating about. I was looking at the lovely green plants above and then noticed the reflection of the Conservatory dome. I am slow seeing shadows and reflections because on a basic level I don't think of them as real. They are also mostly monochrome and I am a color nut. Any way, once I saw the reflections it was fun to work it into the plant. On a side note, I have been "riding out" a whole series of viral waves over the past few weeks. It added about a million views (yup). As a result of the volume, I may have missed reading some comments. I am sorry if I did. I value one good comment more than any number of anonymous views. Another side note is that I finally got paid for the National Geographic photo. The person that owed me the payment was not any good at staying in touch or getting me the money, so it was a big pain. I finally had to resort to a tactic that I hate, getting nasty. After over a month of futile E-mails, the nasty technique got me results in a few days. A shame that some people only respond to anger. I have been very lucky not to have to deal with very many people like that in my life because I don't deal very well with anger can leave me screwed up for days after. Very glad that it is over. Now I gotta figure out another charity. Cheers.
